However, RC car fanatics who are quite experiences use these cars for variety and comparison purposes.

To achieve more power and speed, tuning can be employed. It must be coupled with a proper break to produce the best performance. Draw radio control by ¼ of the way. The whole thing should be practiced for five minutes. After five or more substitutions of brushes, it is advisable to replace the motor.

Daredevils And Remote Control Gasoline Powered Helicopters

It’s perhaps not the best idea to procure a gasoline powered remote control helicopter unless of course, you actually know how to fly a helicopter and have loads of daredevil in you. But if you don’t know what you’re doing with them, you’re probably going to get really hurt because these machines are dirty, dangerous and extremely tricky to fly.

To be safe, it is recommended you purchase an electric model, which is lower in price, and ensure you fly it only in good weather. It may be alright to go for one of the gasoline based models but make sure you get a permit for operation and remember to operate it only in particular weather conditions and at a particular time of day.

These regulations have been placed because there have been several incidents of accidents relating to the gasoline powered remote control helicopter and several have crashed and burned because a spark ignited the gasoline. While operating a gasoline-based machine, one must exercise utmost caution, but then if you’re a cautious person, the odds of you buying a gasoline powered remote control helicopter in the first place are probably low. It is usually the daredevils who end up purchasing these machines, and when they do, everyone has to be wary because if one of them crashes, the person who is responsible would probably just find it amusing. But it is far from amusing if uncontrolled. I know because I have had personal experience, not as a daredevil myself, but as a spectator when, on one fall day, two gasoline powered remote control helicopter crashed into each other while being operated by a daredevil.

In addition to bursting into flames, they also ignited some dried leaves that were nearby. It was beginning to turn into an ugly situation, but luckily I chanced to be playing with my son nearby, in a sandy area adjoining a water source and was able to put out the fire by filling water in a pail that we were previously using to build sand castles. That was when I really experienced the dark side of this sport and I’m really glad I could help prevent people from getting injured. But the flyer seemed to take little notice of the harm he could have caused and much less of the immense amount of money he had just lost. All he was concerned with was capturing the enormous crash on tape and using it in his website to establish his championship in helicopter flying.

If you are, nevertheless, interested in flying these gasoline powered remote control helicopters, then I suggest you do it in an isolated area, away from any life source, particularly children. I am certain you wouldn’t want innocent children hurt because of the carelessness of a daredevil.

Take Care When Reading Reviews About Remote Control Helicopters

Hundreds of reviews have been read by me regarding remote control helicopters. As I am the editor of a magazine that gives you information about helicopters, that gives you lots of information regarding the best one to buy for an owner who's going for a helicopter for the first time, also it provides suggestions for the existing owners of helicopter operated on remote control. The magazine is really cool as it provides me with the views of other readers who are interested in helicopters operated on remote control. It should be accepted by me that the views of the readers varies a lot. Hence it is preferred that the best thing to do is to carry out experiment on the helicopters operated on remote control and adapt the one which satisfies all your expectations instead of going by the way based on a stranger's view .This explains the reason for the reviews that's written in the magazine, as there are lots of people who are buying their first helicopter operated on a remote control without being aware of the fact what they are expecting for.

These reviews are not supposed to be taken very seriously but it can be taken as information regarding other people's mindset for a helicopter. Any way beating round the bush it’s up to your choice about how your helicopter is supposed to be and it is you who is supposed to decide, for example the blades of a helicopter are made of plastic or some other material and it’s up to your choice which one you would like to have. But still this magazine impresses me a lot since it provides us with the views of people irrespective of their class that they belong to, and it takes the views into consideration even if you are not a rich person who does not know what to do with his wealth.

We people are well aware of the fact that it is tough to earn money now days, and this makes the consumers much more aware of their purchases. This is really a great thing in my view. But still there is another category of people who manage to collect the required amount of money by hiking the price of the helicopter to a mind whoomping price thinking that they would come across customers who didn’t prepare themselves for buying one.

And it so happens that those people some how manage to get customers who pay a lot of amount than what the helicopter deserves. Since such customers stay in one or other business they don’t bother to spend .And I get horrified by when i come across such people who paid such mind whoomping amounts. When I enquire them about the magazines they used to come with one or the other lame reasons. Some of them would say they didn’t have enough time and some of them would say much worse reasons. When I listen to such reasons  I keep thinking that these guys had enough time to work and make up the required amount of money and they
didn’t have enough time to go through such magazines. I don’t think so. Well any how nowadays customers are becoming much more responsible about their purchases and I hope this trend keeps on continuing. Since I don’t like to see people in their debt.

Well it’s a thing that is to be regretted. Well any how if you turn out to be a enthu for buying a helicopter operated on remote control then make it sure that you do lots of home work by reading the reviews of the magazines. As it helps you save your currency earned hardly.

Options For RC Helicopters

There are actually many different types of RC helicopter and each of the have their own perks and drawbacks. So if you are in fact serious about buying something like this which one should you go after? The thing to know about these is that you are going to have to build them and then learn how to fly them. Not to mention that the best ones are quite expensive. So here is a bit of help when it comes to choosing one.

Gas

Many people consider this type of helicopter to be dying out simply because people are just not buying them anymore. There do seem to be two reasons for this. These are by far the most pricey out there and this is something you need to think about especially if it is your first buy. Another reason is of course that they are tricky to fly. Without actually being sat down and shown what eveything is it can be hard to fly these things.

Nitro

Nitro is the one that is next on this list and this is a very difficult one too. The reason this time isn’t because of the price, although they are still expensive it comes from which to choose? There do seem to be a lot of sizes when it comes to this one and this is the thing that can be a bit annoying for a first time buyer. The reasons why I wouldnt go out and buy one of these is simply because there is one more type that is best.

Electric

This is now the most commonly used RC aircraft and this is down to the fact is it is the cheapest and easiest to pick up for novices. One of the main points about this one that you need to take into consideration is that you will not get as much flight time.

Of course if this isn’t for you, perhaps you should try Airfix aircraft.

Gravity-defying cars developer to further Investigate Security And Military Applications

Do you remember my post July of last year entitled GRAVITY-DEFYNG RC Cars by 2010?
Well, we have an update on that. Its developer seemed to step up a notch on the possible Security and Military application of their "Patented Adhesive Technology" .

MajicWheels Inc. (MJWL.OB), a leading developer of gravity defying remote-controlled toy vehicles, informed that the company is intends to further investigate additional applications for its patented climbing device technology in the areas of security and military in 2010.

Potential applications could include installing a digital camera on a remote controlled device, and transmitting video or photographs to security and military personnel.

MajicWheels’ patented technology currently enables its remote-controlled vehicles to traverse a variety of surfaces, including those that are steeply inclined, completely vertical, or even inverted altogether.

MajicWheels currently holds the rights for two “climbing device” patents. A fully-approved patent has been registered to the company in Israel. A patent-pending application has similarly been filed in the United States.

“MajicWheels technology is now being studied for its use in various fields,” informed MajicWheels CEO Asher Zwebner. “The adhesive already enables us to make great toys, and we believe that the climbing capabilities of our remote-controlled cars can eventually be utilized throughout several other areas. In particular, we are now studying the use of the adhesive to aid in security applications for buildings and reconnaissance gathering military applications.”

Radio Controlled Helicopters

RC Helicopter Operated with Voice

Radio Controlled Helicopter is not a unique toy anymore, but following newly added auto obstruction detection and voice command capability will add a great surprise for your kids. This RC Toy is built by Nikko and is called the Voice Controlled Voice-Heli and although it is voice controlled it still comes provided with a traditional RC unit allowing you to fly it with a controller rather than voice.

Sensors are built in to the helicopter that can sense the ceiling and if detected the helicopter will stop rising rather than you having to panic.

iPhone as Remote Control for RC Helicopter

When you fly a Remote Control Helicopter, one of the hardest things to learn is how to control the remote helicopter that is facing towards you. When the helicopter is facing away from you, all the controls act pretty much like they do when you are flying a real helicopter. If you want to go forward, you push the control forward, or away from you. But if a Radio Controlled Helicopter is facing towards you, pushing the control forward makes the helicopter come at you.

The solution to this problem has always been to put a little camera and a radio transmitter on the helicopter and fly it by looking from the point of view of the helicopter. With the Parrot AR Drone, you leverage the radio and video display already existing in your iPhone. All that is needed is a helicopter camera that works over WiFi.

There is no reason why this idea wouldn’t work on any Remote Control helicopter (or RC boat / car / truck / plane / hovercraft / or what have you, for that matter, though I don’t think it works well with tank) but the helicopter and submarine are probably the most visually compelling idea.
